Do you want to work on innovative chromatography solutions used worldwide? As a GC Application Specialist, you translate complex analytical challenges into smart and practical applications. You contribute to advanced GC, GCxGC, and GC-MS technologies within an international engineering environment.Wat ga je doen?
As a GC Application Specialist, you will work for our partner on the development and optimization of advanced chromatographic applications. You translate analytical challenges from customers and the market into reliable solutions for GC, GCxGC, and GC-MS systems. Industry standards such as ASTM and ISO play an important role in your work. You also contribute to innovative analytical techniques for future applications within industries such as petrochemical, energy, and environmental analysis. You are responsible for method development, validation, and troubleshooting of analytical systems. In addition, you create technical documentation, application notes, and standardized workflows. Within this role, you collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and analytical engineers to turn applications into robust product solutions. You also provide technical support to internal stakeholders and customers while contributing to the continuous improvement of existing GC and Elemental systems.Jouw werkzaamheden
- Developing and optimizing GC, GCxGC, and GC-MS methods;
- Translating analytical challenges into practical application solutions;
- Performing method development, validation, and troubleshooting;
- Creating application notes, technical documentation, and workflows;
- Improving existing GC and Elemental systems;
- Collaborating with software, mechanical, and analytical engineers;
- Supporting customers and internal stakeholders with technical questions;
- Executing application projects within petrochemical, energy, and environmental industries
Wat heb jij in huis?
- A completed MSc degree in Chemistry or Analytical Sciences;
- At least 3 years of experience with method development and validation;
- Hands-on experience with GCxGC and/or GC-MS;
- Knowledge of chromatographic analytical techniques and GC instrumentation;
- Experience with sample preparation techniques such as headspace or SPME;
- Strong communication skills and an analytical mindset
